For absolute "Guaranteed" 48 hour turn-around please ship Overnight via FedEx or UPS and include a PREPAID Return Label.
We recommend US Postal Service EXPRESS Mail if it does not have to be guaranteed 48 hour turn around. It is about 1/3 the cost of UPS or FedEx.
If you do not include return postage we will ship your ECM via US Postal Priority 2-3 Day Mail at our cost. If you desire to have it any faster please include a PREPAID Return Label with your shipment.
Please INSURE your shipment for a minimum of $300.
ECM LOCATION
Please Note: Removing and Installating your truck's ECM is VERY SIMPLE. The ECM is attached to the drivers's side battery tray and its does not take but a few minutes to replace without special tools. The ECM is encased in a steel housing and we promise you that you won't damage it in the process!!!
The ECM is located on the bottom side of the Main Battery tray Drivers Side(towards firewall).
For the LB7 (01-04)remove the black plastic pouch cover and remove the 2 metal clips. Use a 7mm socket to losen the bolts on the wireharness plug and remove the plug from the ECM.
For the LLY (04.5-05) pop the top off the pouch and unlatch the 3 wireharness plugs. The ECM will then slide of of the pouch.
For the LBZ and LMM just unlatch the 2 wireharness plugs and remove the ECM. There is NO plastic cover
