PLEASE NOTE 01-05 LB7/LLY DURAMAX OWNERS: If your truck has a "SQUARE" intake airbox you may want to consider replacing with with an aftermarket intake system. GM recognized the flaw of this design and replaced it with a "cylinder" shaped air-intake in 2006. The square airbox causes an air flow restriction because the filter pleats can close during higher turbo boost. (we have made an inexpensive AIRAID system available for you)

01-05 LB7/LLY Exhaust Issues: In addition to the intake issue the mufflers on LB7/LLY trucks can cause a restriction because they neck down the exhaust pipe from 3.5 inches to 2.5 inches inside the muffler. Because of this we recommend a "free-flow" muffler like the MAGNAFLOW or a complete turbo-back 4 inch exhaust system like the MBRP.
