The biggest performance flaw with the 04.5-05 LLY Duramax is the undersized, restricted induction plumbing, specifically the constricted compressor mouthpiece supplied by GM. It indirectly creates an extreme oversupply of discharged compressor heat.
The 6-piece Induction Overhaul kit replaces the stock induction tract from the stock OEM air-box to the turbocharger with a new, redesigned, Garrett-approved design.
